Necronomicon, the Journal of Horror and Erotic Cinema is a paracinematical film criticism focused on horror and erotic films book series edited by Andy Black, published by Noir Publising since the late 1990s. Jeff Young remarked that "since the demise of Shock Xpress, there's not been much in the way of non-corporately published yet intelligent fan writing about genre and exploitation films available in the UK (unless you count the irregular products of Creation Books. Necronomicon has changed all that."
