Uncommon Places (1982) is a book by Stephen Shore.
The book was influential for new color photographers of his own and later generations. Photographers who have acknowledged his influence on their work include Nan Goldin, Andreas Gursky, Martin Parr, Joel Sternfeld and Thomas Struth.
On the cover is Sambo's, US 101, Eureka, California (July 29, 1973).
