George Oban (June 11, 1954 - January 18, 2022) was a British musician who played bass. He started out with Aswad. Oban was initially credited under the nickname ‘Ras’.
He wrote compositions such as “Crazy Beat” (1985) under the moniker Motion. That composition was included on Tribal Rites (2017) by Bill Brewster.
