Essy Persson is a Swedish actress born June 15 1941 in Gothenburg (Sweden) chiefly noted for her roles in I, a Woman and Radley Metzger's film adaptation Thérèse and Isabelle, based on Violette Leduc's novel Thérèse et Isabelle. In 1971 she appeared in the movie Want So Much To Believe.
