Walter Soethoudt (1939) is a Belgian writer and publisher.

Born in Antwerp, in 1964 he started his one-man business by publishing quantities of erotic fiction, some of it written by himself, others works by tested authors such as D.A.F. Sade (before Bert Bakker did). Later as Soethoudt & C°., he published literary fiction, plays, essays and historical nonfiction, as well as work on the Flemish Movement. He later founded Facet nv which also published foreign authors. Freddy de Vree wrote a small essay on Soethoudt in Rita Renoir, enz. (1973) titled "Winnetou Stradevarus".
