Simon Heere Heeresma (born March 9, 1932 in Amsterdam - died June 26, 2011 in Laren) was a Dutch author and poet.

His first collection of poetry, published in 1954, was called Children's Room, but his breakthrough came in the 1960s and 1970s in the Provo generation. Especially well received was his publication Melancholic Stories for around the Central Heating of 1973.

A Day at the Beach (1962) was made into a movie twice: first in 1970 by Simon Hesera (A Day at the Beach) and in 1984 by Dutch cineast Theo van Gogh.
