Jacques Gautier d'Agoty was a French engraver, born in Marseille in 1717, died in 1786.
A student of Jakob Christoph Le Blon, he perfected the art of engraving and especially the technique of mezzotint color engraving by combining 4 in stead of 3 colors (black, blue, yellow and red).
He published his complete anatomical engravings in Myologie complète.
