The old Belgian bluestone quays bordering the Scheldt for a distance of 3.5 kilometers.

In 2009, Antwerp's Scheldekaaien faced the challenge of higher levees. Project Kaailand was its first public awareness campaign.

The Scheldekaaien run from the North to the south of Antwerp and comprise the D'Herbouvillekaai, Gerlache- en Cockerillkaai.
