Energy Flash: A Journey Through Rave Music and Dance Culture, alternatively titled Generation Ecstasy, is a music history book by Simon Reynolds.
Its topic is drug culture and its relationship to and effect on music. Reynolds traces the effects of drugs on the ups and downs of the rave scene.
The book was updated in January 2008.
