Tina Turner (1939 – 2023) was an American singer.

Her early career, in collaboration with Ike Turner, gave her fame with "River Deep – Mountain High", "Proud Mary", and "Nutbush City Limits".

Later successes included "What's Love Got to Do with It", "Private Dancer", "We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)" and "The Best".
