Men probeert in dit centrum de nieuwste ontwikkelingen in de kunst te tonen zonder concessies te doen aan hun aard en tevens een zo groot mogelijk publiek te bereiken. Het centrum is sinds 1990 gevestigd aan de Witte de Withstraat in Rotterdam.
In 2007 they organized BODYPOLITCX.
