"Wake the Town and Tell the People" is a popular song with music by Jerry Livingston and lyrics by Sammy Gallop, published in 1955.

The biggest selling version was recorded by Mindy Carson in 1955.

It is also a popular phrase in reggae music, followed by the exclamation "about this musical disc coming your way". It stems from U-Roy's "Wake the Town."
