Vicomte Sébastien de Valmont is a fictional character in the 1782 French novel Les Liaisons dangereuses by Choderlos de Laclos. He was a character in the 1988 film Dangerous Liaisons, based on the above novel, starring John Malkovich as Valmont, a character in Valmont (film), a 1989 film, based on the above novel. Then there is Sebastian Valmont, a character in the 1999 film Cruel Intentions
