Various Artists is a term used in the record industry when numerous singers and musicians collaborate on a song or collection of songs.

Sometimes shorthands like V.A., VV.AA. and V/A are used.

Some Various Artists single releases have their profits go to charity and, usually in high-profile cases, are sometimes known by a group name. Examples include Band Aid with their releases of "Do They Know It's Christmas?" and USA for Africa with "We Are the World".

Album releases under the name of "Various Artists" are often compilation albums from a particular year or musical genre or official soundtracks of motion pictures and video games.

"Various Artists" is also the alias of minimal techno artist Torsten Pröfrock.
