Varian Mackey Fry (October 15 1907September 13 1967) was an American journalist who ran the Emergency Rescue Committee in Vichy France that helped approximately 2,000 to 4,000 anti-Nazi and Jewish refugees to escape Nazi Germany and the Holocaust.
