Bosch's The Garden of Earthly Delights features three instances of an amniotic sac.

The first is the so-called couple in amniotic bubble[1], which is generaly mistaken for an air or soap bubble. The second is a detail of a pig-like creature which shows what on first sight look like "blue balls"[2], but is very similar to images of amniotic sacs in animals about to give birth: [3] and [4]. These photos show similarities to the "blue balls" in the Bosch painting.

A third amniotic sac in the Prince of Hell detail[5].
