Alain Robbe-Grillet's novel Un roman sentimental, published October 19 2007 by Fayard. Fayard, which also publishes Houellebecq, has published the novel in a sort of plastic casing, preventing minors from leafing through it. These protective measures are taken because of the subject matter, which deals with a "refined kind of sadism".

C'est d'autre chose qu'il s'agit, délibérément. Une autre bienséance et une autre vraisemblance...
