The Tom Tom Club was a nightclub located under and related to local radio station Radio Centraal on the Ernest Van Dijckkaai in the old city of Antwerp. It quickly became popular in the early 1980s and turned into the alternative dance, performance, and music venue. Stylistically, the club would be called leftfield in contemporary terminology.
