"Interview with Dr. Sholem Stein" (1955) is a faux interview of Sholem Stein recorded by Henry Jacobs and Woodrow Leafer in which they ridiculed music scholarship.

In this skit, "Dr. Sholem Stein," is a pretentious Hebraist who makes obscure references to psychoanalytics ("music is related to the psyche").

The recording was featured on the seven inch 2 Interviews Of Our Time (1955) and later on on the albums Radio Programme No 1 Audio Collage: Henry Jacobs’ Music and Folklore (1955) and Interviews of Our Times (1958).

The recording was referenced by Daniel J. Crowley "Toward a Definition of Calypso (Part I)" (May 1959, Ethnomusicology, Vol. 3, No. 2 (May, 1959), pp. 57-66) ("Fantasy EP 4051 The Origin of Calypso and Its Relationship to the Hebraic Mishnah".
