The Monster of Frankenstein (Italian:Il mostro di Frankenstein) is a 1920 Italian silent horror film directed by Eugenio Testa and starring Luciano Albertini, Aldo Mezzanotte and Umberto Guarracino . It is an adaptation of Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein. It was one of the few horror films made in Italy before the mid-1950s. The film's running time was heavily cut down before its release, as it faced censorship issues.
