The Man From O.R.G.Y. is the title of a series of sexy spoof spy thriller novels by Ted Mark (1928–2004). The title of the series is a parody on The Man from U.N.C.L.E.. The story was adapted for film by James Hill in 1970, starring Louisa Moritz as Gina Moretti. The film was shot in Puerto Rico during the B movie exploitation boom.

Plot

Steve Victor is the protagonist of the series, he is a "sex investigator". He is also the one-man organization known as O.R.G.Y., which stands for the Organization for the Rational Guidance of Youth. Victor lives from grant money but also does odd jobs for an unnamed 'most secret of American spy organizations'.

Background

The books were published at the height of the James Bond craze, with an emphasis on the sex. The series launched a the sub-genre of spy sex, which also includes Modesty Blaise. Copies of the formula included Coxeman, Man From T.O.M.C.A.T., Lady from L.U.S.T., Miss from S.I.S., Man from S.A.D.I.S.T.O., Man from P.A.N.S.Y., and the Girl from H.A.R.D.
