Spalovač mrtvol (Literally "The incinerator of corpses" or "The Cremator") is a 1967 novel by Ladislav Fuks. It is a psychological horror story about the worker of a crematorium, who, through the influence of Nazi propaganda and oriental philosophy becomes a maniac, who murders his entire family to "clenge them" by death. It was adapted for film by Juraj Herz with Rudolf Hrušínský as protagonist.
