The Continuous Katherine Mortenhoe is a 1974 science fiction novel by D.G. Compton. It was originally published as The Unsleeping Eye in 1973 but was retitled for the UK market. The book was filmed by Bertrand Tavernier in 1980 as Death Watch, starring Harvey Keitel, Romy Schneider and Max von Sydow. Subsequent editions of the novel were published as Death Watch.
