Taana Gardner is an American singer popular in the early eighties disco scene, best-known for the singles recorded for West End Records, such as "Heartbeat".

- Her song "Heartbeat" was sampled by Ini Kamoze for his song Here Comes the Hotstepper, and was also sampled by Musiq Soulchild for his song B.U.D.D.Y..
- Norwegian pop singer Annie based her song "I Will Get On" on Gardner's song "Heartbeat".
The group Seduction also did a cover of this song in late '89. Their version was a top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
