Sylva Koscina (born August 22, 1933, Zagreb - December 26, 1994, Rome, Italy), born as Sylva Koskinon, was an Yugoslavian-born Italian actress of Greek and Polish descent best remembered as Iole, the bride of Hercules (Steve Reeves) in Hercules (1958) and Hercules Unchained (1960). She moved to Italy at a teen age, during Second World War, and had an extensive film career there. Koscina appeared in Deadlier Than the Male (1966), in which she and Elke Sommer portray sophisticated professional killers dueling with Bulldog Drummond. She also played Danica in the Yugoslav movie, The Battle of Neretva, in 1969. She died in Rome in 1994 of breast cancer.
