Stijn Coninx (born in Neerpelt, Belgium on February 21 1957) is a Belgian film director best known for the movie Daens. He was made a Baron by King Albert II of Belgium. He studied film directing at HRITCS (currently Rits, at Erasmus Hogeschool Brussel).
