St John Altarpiece[1] (1474-79), also known as the The Triptych of the Mystical Marriage of Saint Catherine is a work by Hans Memling in the tradition of Netherlandish triptych painting.
The left panel[2] depicts the beheading of St. John the Baptist. Its central panel[3] depicts the Mystical Marriage of Saint Catherine. The right panel[4] depicts John of Patmos.
Its current location is the Memlingmuseum in Bruges.
