It was made at the Abbey of [[Saint-Sever]]. It contains the [[Commentary on the Apocalypse]] of [[Beatus of Liébana]]. The Saint-Sever Beatus was the work of monks working under the direction of abbot Gregori de Montaner; Abbot Gregori held the post from 1028 to 1072. The exhibits at the Jacobins Museum include illuminations from the Saint-Sever Beatus.
