Brieven aan Sophie is the title of the Dutch language translation of Diderot's Lettres a Sophie, from the correspondence with Sophie Volland.

Het zijn vragen die bij uitstek van toepassing lijken op de brieven van Diderot aan Sophie Volland: het hartstochtelijke, levendige proza waarin Diderot over al zijn wel en wee schrijft sprankelt nu nog net zo als twee eeuwen geleden.Natuurlijk, de aanleiding voor deze correspondentie is meer dan frivool en alleszins wetenswaardig."
