Somatopsychic (from Greek: somato, "body" and psychikosis, "of the soul, mental") is a medical term for the effects of the body on the mind. Somatopsychic is used to describe a body-mind relationship, as does psychosomatic. Psychosomatic, however, refers to the mind's effect on the body.
