A soixante-huitard (English: sixty-eighter) is an individual designated as such because of his or her participation in the events of May 1968, or even simply because of his or her ideas related to those that dominated those events.

The term can take on a more or less pejorative aspect, depending on the milieu in which it is used. In this case, the term encompasses the most utopian ideas of revolutionary circles, such as anarchism, progressivism, or humanism, seen as entirely detached from the realities of the human condition.
