In the United Kingdom, a Sloane Ranger or simply a Sloane is a stereotypical young upper-middle or upper class person who pursues a distinctive fashionable lifestyle, and is thought to be an embodiment of the TV character Tim Nice-But-Dim, an Old Ardinian.
