Sexual arousal is the process and state of an animal being ready for sexual activity. Sexual pleasure is an innate component of human sexuality, and it permeates human experience. Outward signs of sexual arousal are an erection (becoming hard) in the human male and vaginal lubrication (becoming wet) in the human female.
