"Same Beat" is a 1973 funk single by The J.B.'s, which sampled from the poem/speech "I Am - Somebody" by Reverend Jesse Jackson. The poem was recited in a somewhat different form in what sounds like a speech by Jackson. The J.B.'s titled an album and track Damn Right I Am Somebody the following year.
