A Montrouge - Rosa la Rouge[1] (1886-1887) is a painting by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, held at the Barnes Foundation. It is a portrait of Rosa la Rouge, a prostitute from whom Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec allegedly contracted syphilis.
Toulouse-Lautrec supposedly met Rosa la Rouge one day when he was walking with fellow student François Gauzi in 1885[2]. She is also said to be Carmen Gaudin.
