Rex is Latin for "king", see Rex (king). Specifically, it was the title of the kings of ancient Rome.

The term may also refer to:

  • Oedipus the King (Oedipus Rex in Latin), a Greek tragedy (Oedipus Tyrannus) written by Sophocles
  • T. Rex (band), British rock band, formed in 1967 by singer/songwriter and guitarist Marc Bolan
