Rain is a 2001 New Zealand made film directed by Christine Jeffs. A debut film by Jeffs, it was released in 2001 in New Zealand and an international release in 2002. It concerns the coming of age the 13-year-old girl Janey, and is based on the novel Rain written by Kirsty Gunn.
