The Punishment of Sodomy[1] is a sketch of a detail of the Michelangelo's Last Judgement made by Gustave J. Witkowski during one of his journeys in Italy. The original fresco shows (near the right border) a daemon trying to pull a man down by grabbing the fabric he is wearing. Because of the ambiguity of this drawing, some have seen a fisting act and have erroneously given it by its current title.

The plate was probably first published in L'art profane à l'église[2].
