Pour un Nouveau Roman is 1963 essay by Alain Robbe-Grillet (a collection of literary studies that written between 1956 and 1963).
Giving it the value of a manifesto, Grillet contests the idea of the traditional balzacian novel and defends the Nouveau Roman.
