Pleidooi voor individualisme (2004) is a book by Dirk Verhofstadt.
Blurb:
- Heel wat hedendaagse filosofen, sociologen en politici wijzen met een beschuldigende vinger naar het individualisme. Nochtans is het individualisme noodzakelijk tegen de tendens naar een steeds grotere anonimiteit, bureaucratisering en uniformisering in onze samenleving. Het verheft de mens uit de massa en geeft hem de kans zijn eigen weg te gaan. Het is geen belemmering voor medeleven met anderen maar juist een noodzakelijke voorwaarde voor ware solidariteit met de medemens.
