Pieter van der Heyden, also Pieter Verheyden, Petrus Ameringius and Petrus Mercinus (Antwerpen (?), c. 1530 – Berchem, after March 1572) was a Flemish engraver.
From 1551 he worked in Antwerp for the publishing house of Hieronymus Cock. He produced engravings after famous painters such as Jheronimus Bosch, Pieter Bruegel de Oude and Hans Bol. He also made portraits, religious and mythological tableaux and ornamental prints. He signed his prints with PME, the initials of his Latinised name, Petrus Mercinus. He was last mentioned in March of 1572.
