Physica Sacra is an illustrated bible by Johann Jakob Scheuchzer. It attempts to provide a scientific explanation of Biblical history. Because of the large number of copperplates, about 750 of them, Scheuchzer called his Holy Physics, the 'copper-Bible' (die Kupfer-Bibel).
