Panasonic Corporation, formerly known as the Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., founded by Kōnosuke Matsushita in 1918 as a lightbulb socket manufacturer, is a major Japanese multinational electronics company, headquartered in Kadoma, Osaka.
