Pmd is een afkorting voor het afval van plastic flessen en flacons, metalen verpakkingen en drankkartons (Vlaanderen) of plastic verpakkingen, metalen verpakkingen en drinkpakken (Nederland). Het verpakkingsafval wordt samen ingezameld en na sortering gerecycleerd. De term is in Vlaanderen gangbaar en is ook in Nederland in zwang geraakt.
