Simone de Beauvoir la scandaleuse (1952) is the informal title to a nude photo of Simone de Beauvoir by Art Shay. The photo was published on January 3, 2008 in the French magazine Le Nouvel Observateur.

Art Shay took pictures of Simone de Beauvoir (nude and portrait) when she visited Chicago to be with Nelson Algren in 1952.

"... black and white photograph was taken by Art Shay in Chicago in 1952 (Shay was a friend of de Beauvoir's lover, Nelson Algren)." --Controversial Images: Media Representations on the Edge - Page 23
