A remix in literature is an alternate version of a writing, different from the original version. Remixing of literature was started in 2006 when Nigel Tomm published his book "Shakespeare's Sonnets Remixed". In the same year Nigel Tomm published "Shakespeare's Hamlet Remixed" where he extended limits of literature’s remixing phenomenon.
