Nick Land (born in 1962) was a lecturer in Continental Philosophy from 1987 to 1999 at the University of Warwick, UK. He was the faculty co-founder, along with Sadie Plant, of the Cybernetic Culture Research Unit (CCRU) at Warwick. He is the author of The Thirst for Annihilation and, more recently, various articles on cybernetic culture.
