"Money In My Pocket" (1978) is a musical composition written and produced by Joe Gibbs and voiced by Dennis Brown, published by Lightning Records. The song was a UK top 20 hit in 1979 (reaching #14 in the singles chart). The song was later covered by Mikey Dread.
The original version of "Money in my Pocket" was produced by Winston "Niney" Holness on behalf of Gibbs, with musical backing from the Soul Syndicate.
