Michael de Benedictus
From The Art and Popular Culture Encyclopedia
"By tossing together Kasper's rock influences, the feisty singing of Fowler, and the battery of keyboards provided by Michael de Benedictus (a classically trained pianist who does jazzy improvisations and plays organ at his neighborhood church), the Peech Boys don't nail themselves down."--Mitchell Cohen reviewing Life Is Something Special, High Fidelity - Volume 34, Issues 1-6 - Page 48, 1984 “I immediately fell in love with the place [...] I loved the music. I loved the look of the patrons. I wanted to be there. It was just magnetism." --Michael de Benedictus cited in Life and Death on the New York Dance Floor, 1980–1983 by Tim Lawrence |
