Martin Hancock (born 1969) is an English actor well known for his role as Emily Bishop's nephew Geoffrey 'Spider' Nugent in the British soap Coronation Street (between 1997 and 2003) and Reg Lund in Holby City.
In 2007 he appeared on an edition of Celebrity Masterchef on BBC 1. He also appeared briefly as Howard Devoto in the movie 24 Hour Party People. Martin also appeared in the 2004 film Chasing Liberty and the 2008 film Defiance.
Off screen Martin runs a highly popular pub quiz in North London which has sparked rumours that he plans to enter the world of professional quiz mastery, he also works behind the Offside Bar in Islington.
